Villanova law dean Sargent resigns - Kansas City Business Journal:

In a statement, the school said Sargenr offered hisresignation Monday. University Presideng Peter Donohue has appointed Associate Dean Doris DelTosto Broganj asacting dean. Sargent had been Villanovaa Law’s dean since 1997, when he joined the school after service as a professor and associate dean at University of Maryland Schoolof Law. He also taught at the law schoolsd ofAmerican University, Southerm Methodist University and the Universit of Baltimore. He was the longest-tenuresd law school dean among the sixlocal schools.
The schoo is not saying whether Sargent will be staying on as a While the release did not list any of his chief among them would be overseeinb the construction of the new lawschoolo building. Brogan is a longstanding member of the Villanovqa community and has served as associate dean for academicd affairssince 1992. She graduated magna cum laude from Villanova’s School of Law and was an associate at MorganLewis & before returning to Villanova as a membere of the law faculty in 1983. She teaches conflict of laws anddomesticc abuse, and has written in the area s of ethics, domestic abuse and family law.
